Tonight is the last show of NIN’s “Wave Goodbye” tour. Here’s my favorite song from TDS, which was pretty much my high school soundtrack. Ugh, I cringe to think about the levels of melodramatic depression and self-loathing that high school me attached to this song. Whenever I would screw up a relationship—which everyone does all the time in h.s. b/c you’re 16 and that’s what you do but it feels like the end of the world at the time b/c you don’t know any better b/c you’re 16—I would blast this and OH how I would wallow. I mean WALLOW!

Today it’s just a great song from a great album that doesn’t make me want to sit in the dark and cry. Today I sit in the dark and cry about my Tumblarity.
